Nike recently released this video about Cameron’s golf journey and the Mack Champ Invitational as part of its “What Are You Working On” series.
One year after Cameron’s 2021 victory at the 3M Championship, the PGA Tour featured Cameron, our foundation, and the Mack Champ Invitational on “The Cut.”
For the second consecutive year, the Cameron Champ Foundation is teaming up with the Fortinet Championship to kick off the PGA Tour’s season of charitable giving.
The Cameron Champ Foundation Pro-Am will be played on Sept. 12, 2022, on the North Course at Silverado Resort & Spa in Napa, CA, the site of Cameron’s second PGA Tour victory. The 5th Annual Cameron Champ Foundation Golf Classic will be held the same day on the resort’s South Course.
The event will raise funds for the Foundation in support of programs for underserved and underrepresented children. Follow the link below to see sponsorship opportunities and sign up as a sponsor or player. Email [email protected] with questions.
Alona Avery and KJ Ofahengaue won the boys and girls titles at the second annual Mack Champ Invitational on March 20 with steady performances down the stretch under tough, windy conditions.
They beat out golfers from around the country and the world who had come together in Houston for the premier junior golf tournament for players of diverse backgrounds.
The weekend also featured a dinner reception and clinic with Cameron Champ and Sean Foley, a live-streamed broadcast with Michael Collins and Scott Walker, a concert by jazz saxophonist Gerald Albright, and the chance for players and their families to build relationships that will last a lifetime.
Head to mackchampinvitational.com to learn more about the tournament and to join our database for consideration for next year’s MCI.
Golfers nationwide are taking on the challenge of playing 100 holes in support of the Cameron Champ Foundation and our programs.
Participants in the Walk With Us Golf Marathon will complete 100 holes, some in a single day and others over multiple days. No matter how they choose to participate, everyone will walk, run and ride while taking hundreds of swings along the way.
Marathoners will collect pledges and donations from friends, family and colleagues to fuel their efforts and get them across the finish line. Every dollar raised will go back into the hands of families around the country to lower the financial burden of playing competitive golf. These resources will benefit junior golfers who aspire to advance their education and play in college.

The Cameron Champ Foundation is partnering with Dryvebox, the mobile golf simulator company, to make golf more accessible than ever.
We share a vision of bringing the game to underserved communities. Through this partnership, the Cameron Champ Foundation will have its own Dryvebox mobile simulator units that will be used to present the game in fresh and exciting ways to kids who have never held a club before. The top-of-the-line technology in each unit will also serve advanced players looking to improve their games.
Each Dryvebox unit, dubbed a “driving range on wheels,” is equipped with a golf simulator, internal and external TVs, lights, and music. With Dryvebox, the foundation can bring a fun and approachable golf experience to kids, no matter where they are.
“We started the foundation because access to the opportunities golf provides are difficult to come by for black and brown kids,” said Jeff Champ, Co-Founder and CEO of the Cameron Champ Foundation. “Working with Dryvebox gives us the opportunity to break down the barriers we see all the time. We can take a box straight to a school or a park and give kids an authentic experience where they feel comfortable. We can use it to make exciting connections to STEM-related concepts, and our competitive players can use it as a serious game-improvement tool. The sky’s the limit with this partnership.”
Dryvebox’s goal of growing the game of golf through mobile lessons, practice and events will be expanded with this new partnership. Dryvebox participated in the Cameron Champ Foundation Junior Golf Clinic at Chester Washington Golf Course in Los Angeles on Feb. 15. Kids, coaches, and celebrities alike got the chance to hit shots in the mobile simulator at the event, the first of many to come.
“We feel incredibly aligned with the goals, commitments, and aspirations of the Cameron Champ Foundation and are blessed to be working with such a great team that’s making a real difference in the community,” said Adeel Yang, Co-Founder and CEO of Dryvebox. “The Cameron Champ Foundation has made great strides in bringing golf to underserved and underrepresented communities. Once equipped with Dryvebox’s mobile simulators, they will be primed to spread the game of golf in a whole different way. Our mission at Dryvebox is to grow the game by making golf more accessible and engaging. Through our partnership with the Cameron Champ Foundation, we’ve found a group of like-minded people who are driven to make a real difference in the world of golf. We can’t wait to get started.”

The Cameron Champ Foundation hosted a clinic for junior golfers on February 15 at Chester Washington Golf Course, a hub of Black golf in Los Angeles since the 1950s.
Tony Finau and Sean Foley, Cameron’s coach and one of the biggest names in golf instruction, were also on hand.
We are committed to growing and diversifying golf, and we believe that events like this, held at courses like this, can be a defining moment in a young person’s lifelong journey with the game.
Thanks to Nike, Chevron, Beats by Dre and Malbon Golf for partnering with us to make the event possible, to Senator Steven Bradford for our official recognition from the California State Senate, and to Dryvebox for bringing their mobile golf simulator to the course! Thanks also to Roger Steele, Jake Hutt and Manolo Vega for coming out.
Our toy drive on Dec. 12 was a huge success! Thanks to everyone who contributed so generously and to our partners Anrak Corp. and Bennett’s Kitchen.
We are distributing more than 200 presents to more than 100 families through multiple schools in the Twin Rivers Unified School District, the Roberts Family Development Center, Hooked on Fishing Not on Violence, and Always Knocking.

Your donation will help provide a life-changing experience for a junior golfer at the 2022 Mack Champ Invitational.
During the week of the Houston Open, the PGA Tour took an in-depth look into the Mack Champ Invitational and the impact our tournament has had on diverse junior golfers like Allyn Stephens, a Houston native who will play her college golf for Texas A&M.
