Mackray Champ, who introduced his grandson to the game and predicted years ago that Cameron would make the PGA Tour, passed away on Oct. 21, 2019. Here’s a wonderful tribute from Cameron and the Golf Channel.
We have been devoting a lot of time to getting the Cameron Champ Foundation up and running at Foothill Golf Course, and our after school program will begin daily operation in 2020 with a focus on STEM, golf, baseball and healthy living.
To realize our ambitious goals, however, we are going to need help. We are looking for volunteers to serve as STEM teachers, golf and baseball instructors, mentors, tutors and more. If you have expertise in any field you think might help, from golf course maintenance to fundraising/events, we would love to hear from you.
